Project summary

A 2D action-adventure game made with Unity to be played on mobile (Android) or on PC (Windows).

I developed Deep in the Dungeon using assets from Filebase, open source libraries and purchased bundles.

I built this game applying the next C# and Unity concepts:

  • Tilemaps (game design)
  • Unity’s built-in Physics
  • Cinemachine (state driven cameras)
  • Inheritance and polymorphism
  • Scriptable objects (SO) as data containers
  • Clean game architecture using SO (Event bus pattern)
  • Save system with encryption
  • Raycasting
  • Interfaces (health and damage system)
  • Unity Ads
  • Unity’s new input system (touch, controller and keyboard are supported)
  • Unity’s animation system (state machines and events)

A 2.5D platformer game made with Unity to be played on PC (Windows).

 

I developed Nuke Finder using assets from Filebase, Mixamo, open source libraries and purchased bundles. Also, it was built using the Universal Render Pipeline (URP) from Unity.

 

I built this game applying concepts like:

 

  • Physics based character controller.
  • Animation state machines.
  • Level design.
  • Graphic User Interfaces (GUIs).
  • Post processing.

A 3D stealth/cinematic game made with Unity to be played on PC (Windows).

 

I developed the game using assets from the Unity asset store.

 

I built this game applying concepts like:

 

  • Virtual cameras (Cinemachine)
  • Cinematic events handled with a timeline
  • Working with previs elements to build cutscenes
  • NavMesh agents to implement movement of AI and player
  • Storytelling

I built this game applying concepts like:

 

  • Collider triggering.
  • Animations with events.
  • Raycasting.
  • Level design.
  • Asset creation.

A VR game prototype for the Oculus Rift S using Unity 3D.

 

The game presented a possible new attraction for an amusement park with a Stranger Things theme.

 

I developed the prototype for innovation class at ITESM CSF.

An interactive VR game made with Unity to be played with Google’s Cardboard and Leap Motion using VRidge.

 

The game is about the solar system planets and it’s intended for education.

 

I developed the game for an innovation event at ITESM CSF.

Forgotten Creatures

A 3D puzzle/platform game made with Unity to be played on a CAVE VR system.

 

I developed the graphic user interfaces (GUIs) and placed the assets (scenarios, characters and animations) collected from the Unity asset store.

 

The game is based on the book Criaturas Olvidadas by Horacio Rojas Cortés

 

Date: May, 2017

Robobelix

A 3D puzzle/platform game for PC about a space robot made with Unity.

 

The game ended on 2nd place at the game jam competition.

 

I developed the Graphic User Interfaces (GUIs) of the game.
